My Philosophy

Each family is beautiful and inique. My goal is to tailor your session to reflect exactly who you, as a family, are. I want you to look at these images for years to come and feel a special connection with them. I love to make it a unique experience that leaves you walking away thinking about how much you laughed, and not about any stress! Whether you feel like you need to lose those 5 extra pounds or 10... these moments we have now with our children can never be brought back. Let's cherish these memories to keep for future generations.

What to Expect

I treat each family with the same care I would expect to receive for beautiful portraits. After you decide to book with me we will have a consultation, either through email, phone, text or in person. Whichever best fits with your schedule! We can talk through colors you may want to coordinate with, what colors look best on you, how you want your hair and makeup to look and what types of locations your are interested in. You can tell me about your children (if you have any) and anything I may need to know about them. If you are feeling overwhelmed about what to wear? No problem! I often times head over to my clients closets and find just the perfect outfit for them to wear for the session. I want to take all the stress out of it for you!
The day of the session you don't have to worry about a thing. I will do your hair and makeup and all you have to do is meet me at the location. Session last up to an hour and a half and occur about 2 hours before sunset. Two weeks after our session we will get together at your house to look through the slideshow. Its at that time that you will decide which images that you would like to purchase. My goal is to make every step of the way as easy and streamline as possible to deliver the most gorgeous images you have ever seen of your family!

HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION?

Yay! I'm so glad you are interested in booking a session with Hannah Whaley Photography. First I recommend emailing me through the "Contact" tab to get on my calendar. Once you have paid your session fee and filled out my online contact form that secures your date.

I’VE BOOKED MY SESSION… NOW WHAT?

Once your session is confirmed you will recieve an online newborn questionaire.  There, you will answer all the questions that will help me begin crafting your session to be exactly what you want. Things like colors, what to wear and even how you decorated your new nursery (so your photos are cohesive). You will also receive a full guide on all the details like when to contact me once you've had your baby, how to prep, and about how long a newborn session takes.

HOW DO WE DECIDE ON LOCATION?


During our consultation I will find out as much as I can about you  and ask if you have any location preferances. If you know you want more of a fine art studio session, then we are set! For outdoor locations usually we brainstorm from there to see if there is anything or any place special in the local area. I also have plenty of location ideas!

WHERE CAN I FIND MORE INFORMATION ABOUT PRICING?

My collections start at $250 and my a la carte menu starts at $35. There is no obligation to purchase any products after the session.

HOW SOON AFTER THE SESSION WILL I GET TO SEE MY IMAGES?

Approximately two weeks after our session date we will meet at my personal studio so you can see a beautiful slide show of the images from your session. I take my time editing each image since I know just how special it is to capture these memories. I only book a limited number of sessions a month just so I can devote my time to creating beautiful photos that you will cherish. It is during this slideshow appointment two weeks after our session date that that you will decide what you want to go ahead and purchase. I offer payment plans if needed.
